Nominations are open through the end of November for the 2011 Cliopatria Award Nominations from the History News Network. There are eight categories. The guidelines are straightfoward and nominating is simple - click on the category link and then list your nomination in the comments section.
I took a quick peek at some of the previous winners (here) and there are many that are new to me. Two past winners include Executed Today (2009) is a synopsis of daily executions and Wynken de Worde (2008) examines the world of books and early modern culture. My blog reading list will soon be expanding, methinks. Even if you don't feel like nominating a history blog, take a took a the past winners and current nominees. You might find a new favorite.
